becoming a vendor

WE ARE HERE TO PUT YOU IN FRONT OF DIRECT CONSUMERS

WHAT DOES IT MEAN TO BE A VENDOR?

Being a vendor at the Craft Food & Wine Festival gives you direct access to consumers that are interested in your products. The festival allows our vendors to engage in conversation with consumers, and to educate the consumer in products of interest.
  • MARKETING LEVERAGE (I.E. SOCIAL MEDIA, BLOGS, MAGAZINE ARTICLES)
  • NO PARTICIPATION FEE
  • EASY TABLE SETUP
  • DIRECT SALES
  • LISTING ON HOME PAGE
  • FESTIVAL PRE-PARTY FUN!

We consider each vendor a partner in the Craft Food & Wine Festival. We want to grow this festival as a community and develop ideas and concepts directly from the vendors and the festival.

WHAT IS THE COST TO PARTICIPATE?
This festival is ABSOLUTELY FREE to participate in!! We only ask the vendors to provide an ample amount of high quality, free samples during the time of the festival. We will also help with accommodations for out of town vendors.
WHAT DO I RECEIVE AS A PARTICIPATING VENDOR?
  • Banquet table set up: 8 ft table, prep area table and two linens
  • Name on website
  • Media Coverage
  • Photographs of food and beverage
  • Ability to sell product
HOW MANY SAMPLES SHOULD I PROVIDE, AND WHAT ARE THE SIZE OF THE SAMPLES?
The amounts of samples are based on the attendance of the event. Sample sizes are dependent on the type of food you are sampling but range from 0.5 - 2 ounces of food and beverages.

WHAT ARE THE TIMES REQUIRED TO BE AT THE SHOW? WHAT IS THE ITINERARY OF THE DAY?
As a vendor, you are required to set-up at least 2 hours prior to the opening of the event and take down your area only after the doors of the event close. The day is made up of 9 hours long and allows the consumers to interact with our vendors in a "trade-show" format.
Setup: 10 am - 1 pm
VIP Early Start: 2 pm - 4 pm
INTERMISSION
General Tasting Session: 5 pm - 7 pm

WHAT DO I NEED TO BRING?
You are required to meet the local health act standards of TN. This means you will need to bring a wastebasket, sanitation and hygiene containers and any serving items. We will provide the consumers with a tasting board and glass. Please also provide us a copy of your general liability insurance.

WHAT IS THE PROCESS TO BECOME A VENDOR?
To become a vendor you must fill out the vendor information at CLICK HERE and we will contact you with further information. It's easy peasy! Although we will likely accept a small number of retail partners (restaurants/markets), we are specifically looking to introduce original product manufacturers to our attendees. So come on butchers and cheesemongers, picklers and beekeepers, and any other artisans with direct connections to craft foods and wine. This show is for you!

CAN WE SELL OUR PRODUCT?
Yes! This is by far one of our biggest benefits to our vendors. Vendors averaged $420 in 2021 sales. We highly suggest having someone handle the transactions to ensure no long lines.

WHO WILL ATTEND THE CRAFT FOOD & WINE FESTIVAL?
Our average consumer base is between 25-55 years of age and is primarily female. 87% of our audience are also locals. Consumers come with a good base of education expecting to try and sample great quality products they can repeatedly buy and show off to friends.
